CANNES, FRANCE -- Corus Entertainment’s Nelvana is teaming up with Oktobor Animation and Playmates Toys to develop and produce Mech Mice, an animated action-comedy for kids 6 to 11.
The CG series, about a ragtag team of heroic hi-tech mice ready to save the world, is anticipated to premiere in 2017. Mech Mice, created by Oktobor Animation’s Dan Wang and Chris Waters, is an original idea from Lance Priebe, creator of Disney’s Club Penguin and founder of digital gaming studio, Hyper Hippo. Priebe will oversee development of web and mobile games based on the series. Oktobor, Nelvana and Playmates Toys are partners in the production, with Playmates Toys also acting as the global master toy partner for the brand.

I hope the series gets some serious action in it. The animation flows well, but the kind of humor seen in here would fit better with a character like Flank. It's just a test though, so lets wait for the real deal, with real action.
Hyper Hippo has stated that their new game, "Wild Warfare", is basically continuing the FPS concept that was developed in Mech Mice Academy. In other words, Mech Mice Academy will morph into Wild Warfare. What will change? Basically, the game will drop the "Mech Mice" trademark, and other characters from outside of the Mech Mice world will be included in it.
Honestly, I don't think this will have a good ending. It's still unknown if the Mech Mice franchise will stay or die after this happens, unfortunately.

Did anybody try this trick? Create a desktop shortcut for the MMA application and set the default window size to "maximized". The result is a true HD version of MMA, unlike that "full screen" option that just expands the 1024x768 window to fit the screen.

It seems that the original Mech Mice is now called Mech Mice Tactics. Not only they changed the name, but they also took out the login system, meaning that you don't need an account anymore, and all levels and units (including Founder Units!) are now available for free.
What do you guys think about it? Good, bad or indifferent?
