Heya Mech Mice, as the newest Admin of the Wiki, it has come to attention to me that the Wiki is lacking in several aspects. The Navigation was outdated for a very long time, so as you can see, I went ahead and fixed it up pretty well. I also added 4th and fifth level navgation, but for some reason the new VisualEditor interferes in a wierd way so that the menus can only be seen during VisualEditing, but for some reason it works fine on other Wikis so I will be looking into that for a while.
Side note: this page is mainly meant for Feey to look at.
Secondly, BY looking through the Wiki Features I thought that we needed to activate a few features:
Highly Recommended: Article Comments: This is basicially essential for a Wiki as commenters can receive feedback and ask questions, which also boosts the social interaction around in the Wiki, which may encourage other people to comment and possibly join the editing wheel of the Wiki.
Highly Recommended, but not necessary: Message Walls are highly recommended, coming from a guy from a huge Wiki, but I've already received a reply that the talk page is there so people can practise coding (I'm not really sure why a Wiki needs its users to learn coding) but anyway,that's just a suggestion.
Lightly Recommended: Forums. We should possibly activate this feature once the Wiki gets larger for social interaction.
Recommended: Switch off VisualEditor, I've found that it hinders me while editing as you can't edit templates, infoboxes, galleries, adding links is very annoying and using Source Mode is quite irritating. Of course, I now just go to the classic editor to minimalize my troubles.
Anyway, with all that aside, I have aMain Page proposal still pending, it is much easier on the eyes that the current one. This one will also affect the Community Corner and some other pages if approved.
EDIT: I have installed a CSS script that gives that gives a green cursor. Please tell me if it looks nice, if not, I will remove it.
Lastly, the favicon could get a update, I can make favicons using a website and PowerPoint. The background that was just recently updated looks fine enough, but anyway:
