The Shield Grunt is one of the three grunts (Bazooka Grunt Unit, Grunt Unit and itself) that a mouse can have in their squad. Not much is known about this unit. All that is known is that they carry a Strong Shield, protecting other mice. The only known Shield Grunt Unit is Brix.

- They wield a Pistol Blaster, similar to Medic Units.
- It is predicted that the Shield Grunt Units will work similarly to Lefty's Decoy ability.
